Well I’m not superstitious but you’ve got me suspicious
Crawling around like you do
You’re a sneaky cat and that’s a fact
You’re always hiding the truth
Your moves are covert, blood stains your shirt
Wounds I can not see
Those tears in your eyes are no surprise
What can this be

As the hero takes the fall, takes the fall
And this hero, this hero
Inside of me

I can’t escape – you’re under my skin
You’re where my world begins

I’m in too deep, you’re haunting my sleep
What can this mean
I’d get a chill if this were all real
Can it be a dream

Mistakes we make, make us great
Humble and wise
You can’t disguise the fear in your eyes
For where the future lies

That’s why the hero…

Well I’m a little bit rugged around the edges
But I’m all the woman you can take
And I’m a little bit frightened of the future
But there’s more here at stake

Well I’m not so weak, I’m not so strong
I’ll keep holding on to you

24/7 is all I’m given
100% and I’m spent
Days go by and I realize
There’s no crime in compromise

Well you’re a little bit stubborn and set in your ways
But your all the man I can take
And you’re a little bit angry and getting tired
And you’ve had all that you can take

You’re not so wrong, you’re not so right
I’d like to know who started this fight anyway

24/7 is all I’m given
100% and I’m spent
Days go by and I realize
There’s no crime in compromise

Bend me, just don’t break me
I’ll give a little, for your company
Shake me, don’t displace me
I like being, in your company

You might find me looking over your shoulder
I’m not so wise, just a little older

And I’m not sure, what I’m doing here

I just don’t want to be alone anymore
Alone anymore, alone anymore
I’m not sure what I’m doing here

Tap me but don’t slap me
I’ll give a little for your company
Hold me don’t suffocate me
I like being in your company

You might say that I’m pushing you away
Well, then there’s nothing left for me to say

Cause I’m not sure what I’m doing here

I just don’t wanna be alone anymore
Alone anymore, alone anymore
I’m not sure what I’m doing here
Alone alone again alone alone anymore

Three men sitting in Joe’s Bar
One of them’s dream’n of being a star
This is his story

Liven on Franklin and Vine
Sell his soul for a dime
Walking the background
Hope’n one day he will be found
With the backstage west and Variety
He sets his sites on that big screen

Everybody knows he’s bound to be a star
Everybody knows he’s gonna go real far

Two men sit’n in Joe’s Bar
One of them’s think’n he’ll play guitar
This is his story

Join a rock’n roll band,
Beg his papa for a hand
Playing the open mikes
Hoping to find a style he likes
With the coconut teaser and the Whiskey
He sets his sites on the MTV

Now one man’s sit’n at Joe’s Bar
He sees his life and empty jar
This is his story

He chased the rainbow
Never had a enough dough
Wonders about his child
Wished he hadn’t been so wild
With lessons learned and broken dreams
He shares that fame is not what it seems

I wanna hear about a million new things
Show me, tell me, about your dreams
On a dark, cold night, where do you see the light
Tell me what do you feel this is so real

I need you to tell me a story
I need you to make it real
I need you to tell me a story
I need you to make me feel
Alive
(So Alive)

I wanna talk about the places you’ve seen
Mountain tops, flowing streams, meadows green
I wanna visualize the beauty of your dream (you bring)
To everything you touch, every note you sing

So open up a window when you close the door
Open up you mind to dream forevermore

I wanna fall in love on a rainy day, chase away
Those clouds. Dream I’m the queen and you’re my king
Tearing down every wall some 40-ft tall
Building a kingdom to live forever happily

Like a rose in the desert sand
Reaching out to the morning sun
Arise darling my beautiful one
I have searched high and low
I have wondered through the city

What I hope to find
What I know will soon be mine
I must find my sweet embrace
There is no hiding place

Until the day breaks and the dark shadows flee
All the watchmen in the courtyard keep their eye on me
I am yours and you are mine
We will unite for all time

What I hope to find
What I know will soon be mine
I must find my sweet embrace
There is no hiding place

Day breaks and in the distance I see my love
Standing in the morning sun
shines upon all mankind in all the universe

What I hope to find
What I know will soon be mine
I must find my sweet embrace
There is no hiding place

Garden of Eden ©

Night’s fallen, time to rise
Moon hovers through starry skies
With the sand under my feet, And the softly blowing breeze
Must have been silence , that brought me to my knees
Casting aside my ambitious pride
The steps I took were to the side

Ask me how I found my way – in the darkness of the night
Didn’t you know in darkness you find the light

To quench the thirst of this well run dry,
I am face to face with El Shaddai
Looking forward into the past – my first words became my last
Now is this the beginning come round to the end

Ask me how I found my way – in the darkness of the night
Didn’t you know it’s the darkness that drove me to the light

Late one evening in the Garden of Eden, I glimpsed upon a
Once forbidden, now all forgiven, I took from the
Tree of knowledge, to escape the madness of impending
Emptiness – to find the light

Ask me how I found my way – in the darkness of the night
Don’t you it’s the darkness that drives you to the light

Late one evening in the Garden of Eden, I glimpsed upon a
Once forbidden, now all forgiven, I took from the
Tree of knowledge, to escape the madness of impending
Emptiness – to find the light

Dark, cold, winters night
Chased away by the sunlight
Feels so warm inside
Dance away those cloudy skies

Rain or Shine, anytime’s fine, with you dear
Day or night, it’ll be alright, with you dear

You dear chased away my pain
Never again will I be the same
God’s love brought us here
Can you feel his presence near

Cool breeze moving through
Swept away by the things you do
Stand right next to me
Draw me in to ecstasy

Cause it feels alright, day or night with you dear
Yes it feels alright here, with you dear

You dear drove away my madness
In the midst of your sanity
And you dear brought me to this peace of mind

Pardon me can you sing the blues
Dance around in those red suede shoes
You tell me your middle name is danger
I take a look; I think you’re an angel

Pardon me, caught you staring
Do you think that we could dance
Tell me you feel all this friction
I take a look; I think you’re an angel

We danced close all through the night
You never asked my name
When you wrapped around me tight
I lost all shame

We danced close all through the night
You never asked my name
A dangerous dance, a careless night
Tell me was it all in vein?

You never asked my …
You never new my … “The Fall”
